Jaipuri "razai" are quilts characterized by their feather-weight lightness and warmth. They are made of hand block prints or screen prints in traditional designs. Most of the prints are Sanganeri or Bagru prints done traditionally by carved wooden blocks.Fabric used is 100% fine cotton voile which makes the razai incredibly soft. These quilts are filled with finely combed fresh cotton and hand quilted in a close running stitch traditionally known as ' Tagai ' for better grip of cotton sheet inside to retain that warmth even in the severe winters which is characteristics of Rajasthan. Dry cleaning recommended
