What do I do in case I receive a defective / damaged item from TheHinduShopping.com?
If an item ordered by you on TheHinduShopping.com is delivered to you in a damaged / defective condition, please email us at thehindushopping@indiaplaza.in for a replacement. When we ship out the replacement item to you, we will also have the defective / damaged item picked up from you at our cost.
To provide you a worry free shopping experience on TheHinduShopping.com, we offer you a No Questions Asked Return Policy. (Please note that defective/damaged goods are already covered as per previous point) Within 7 days of receiving your shipment, you may return any unopened item in its original packaging, for a refund (excluding shipping costs). The exceptions are as follows
- In case of jewellery shipped within India, the No Questions Asked return policy is valid upto 30 days from the date of delivery.
- The No Questions Asked return policy does not extend to digital delivery products like mobile recharge, or any products like mobile ring-tones etc.
- The No Questions Asked return policy doesn’t extend to products which come with a warranty / guarantee, such as branded electronics goods.
- The No Questions Asked return policy doesn’t extend to edible / perishable products like cakes, sweets, flowers etc.
- In case of any products where it is specifically mentioned that the No Questions Asked policy doesn’t apply.
Due to Import and Export regulations and restrictions, we are unable to extend our Returns Policy for any items shipped outside India.
When you return your product, just indicate the reason for your return in a short note (if you feel like it!), put the item and the note with the order number into secure package, affix our address note (our returns address is given below) and send it through a reliable courier or mail it to us. We will refund to you the entire cost of the returned item, less shipping costs. Please note that we will provide a refund facility only for products bought from our store.
Within what time period do I have to return the product?
You need to return any product bought from our store within a period of seven days from the receipt of the shipment. However, for jewellery shipped within India, the maximum return period allowed is 30 days from the date of delivery to you. In case of wine, you can even return any items back to the delivery person at the time of delivery.
How and when will I get my refund?
Upon receipt of your package with the item in it, we will initiate the refund process. The refund will be made to the same payment option(s) originally used to pay for the order.
